Contemporary world requires creativity and innovation along with strong decision making skills. Project-based learning being a student-centered pedagogy, involves a dynamic classroom approach where students acquire a deeper knowledge through active exploration of real-world challenges and problems. Students learn about a subject by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to a complex question, challenge, or problem. It is quiet akin to active learning and inquiry-based learning. It is contrary to the traditional paper-based, rote memorization, or teacher-led instruction instead it promotes creativity and innovation by posing questions, problems or scenarios.

Inculcation of Values through Moral Science

Moral and spiritual level can play a much greater role in building an atmosphere of quality consciousness. Therefore, FSCS has introduced moral grooming among its students as a predominant factor in its quality education. We have developed moral science syllabus to inculcate values with a detailed methodology of teaching Moral Science. Moreover, regular workshops are held for students so that they understand the importance of being morally groomed at all times and emulate the best moral ethics.

Tafheem-e-Deen as a Subject

Tafheem-e-Deen, at FSCS, is taught as a permanent subject from pre-school to onwards. For the purpose, period allocation has been ingrained in the time table with its assessment. We aim to teach Tafheem-e-Deen not in an abstract manner but with proper understanding and grasp of the purport and spirit.  Students from Pre-school to Class 10 are taught Nazra, recitation and translation. Tafheem-e-Deen shall also be made a reference for Moral Science subject that further reinforces the concept of moral grooming.

Personality Development

All personality grooming experts agree that behavior based on respectful manners and etiquettes should be one of the major goals in an educational dispensation. With growing demands on teaching time, etiquette is rarely a priority, however, FSCS to focus on the following areas of personality Grooming:

‘Scratch’ as a learning program to teach programming

As a fundamental part of the digital literacy program, each school has technological equipment such as interactive boards, laptops and computers in computer labs. FSCS has adopted MIT’s famous ‘SCRATCH’ program, which is designed to teach children the skill of computer programming through the use of games and fun activities. This methodology not only increases their interest, but blends play and learning together in a manner that allows children to pick up skills faster than traditional methodologies.

Yearly Action Packs for Students

At the start of the session each student is given’ yearly action pack’ that includes all the major academic and non- academic activities such as yearly syllabus break-ups, scheme of studies, academic calendar, date sheets of each term and all the major activities that are to be carried out in a year. It also includes guidelines for students as well as for their parents. It helps students and their parents plan academically and for their private affairs keeping in view the school-related activities.

Springboard for Cadet College

Subject to their wish, students at FSCS have the option to join our Forces Cadet College. For the purpose, aspirants shall be provided necessary coaching, academic and physical, on the lines of well-reputed cadet colleges.

Scholarships & Concessions Policy

  • FSCS has a permanent policy of scholarships for a certain percentage of wards of ‘shuhdas’ to study in the FSCS schools free of cost at all levels.
  • The children of armed forces personnel’s
  • The siblings of the same parents enrolled in the FSCS school shall have 20 per cent discount.
  • The children from downtrodden class with exceptional talents

Pakistaniyat (Patriotism)

We aim to foster in students of FSCS a deep love of our culture and country, by guiding and encouraging them to inquire and embrace our national heritage, ethnic diversity and shared humanism. We strive to inculcate in them a strong desire to serve their country for the better, both in body and spirit.

Special Education Needs and inclusivity

We aim to enhance academic, social, emotional and physical abilities of students with special needs. Under the UDL framework we have tailored our programs to suit the needs of these students. Not only our teachers but also our students develop a special bond with these students to make them feel a part of themselves rather than an anomaly.

Parents are also provided with regular reports about their child’s progress and what amendments need to be made for them at home as well. At FSCS psychiatrists and doctors regularly visit us to counsel our students.

Remedial programs: Extra care and effort

Remedial teaching involves a host of activities, techniques and practices to overcome weaknesses or deficiencies that the slow learner is known to have. An in-house remedial program is run by the school, which caters to the needs of the students who require extra help in order to improve their skills.
